There is a nice area called Patriarchy Ponds. It has a pond, as the name suggests, and a nice playground. Nice path around the pond, lots of benches. I like the area - it is about 15 min walk from our place. It does have a lot of people sleeping on benches (or maybe passes out?), lots of people drinking. But, you do your thing, they do theirs.
It was nice, so the other day we walked over - well, I walked, kids sccotered, natash in the stroller.

After we came home a friend sent me a message - were you at pat ponds? I saw a woman with a stroller and 2 kids on scooters. The kids had helmets so I knew they were americans - thought maybe it was you.

I love Patriach Ponds. There is a really cool gift shop next to Cafe Margarita . . . never bought anything, but have spent a lot of time there browsing.
